You’re not alone.  \nNearly one in five Americans live with a mental health condition\, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. That presents challenges that must be acknowledged by employers and people-focused organizational leaders\, such as human resources practitioners. If you work in a DEI-focused role\, you likely face the challenge of addressing additional layers of stress and trauma. \nIn recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month\, DAIP’s May Unfiltered Coffee Chat will be a guided conversation featuring Sandra Victorino\, LMHC. Sandra is the co-founder of the Latino Mental Health Network of RI\, and currently leads workforce development and community engagement efforts at Care New England.
